***WOW*** Blog Hop Time

Hello everybody, it's time for the Powder Puff Girl's Blog Hop over at the WOW blog!!! I hope you play along with us, there will be wonderful prizes. And you're sure to find lots of inspiratin along the way! You should have arrived here from the gorgeous blog of Katarina!

Your next stop will be the WOW blog!!!

If you get lost along the way you can always go back to the WOW blog to find your place!!! Here: WOW

This is the layout that I did for the Hop. This is a picture of my Aunt back in the 1920's! I love how you see her as she looked on an average day! Her hat, her shoes, sitting on a "motorbike"!!!! She was a school teacher for over 40 years and lived to be almost 100!!! She was a very sweet and wise lady and I miss her a lot!!!

I used the Suzy West WOW StampSet14 Vintage stamp for this. the paper had one chandelier on it, so I used the little chandelier stamp and repeated it on the background using WOW Primary ebony . The paper also had a little crown, and it so happens that the set has a little crown as well! So I ramdomly stamped it on the background as well and embossed with Suzy West Cable Car Red from the By the Bay collection.

Here are some close-ups:

The chippie bicycle is from "Imaginarium Designs" and I embossed it with the Suzy West Pantry collection color "Pepper"!

Here is a close-up of one of the little crowns!

and one of the little chaldeliers!

This is just a closeup of the bloom cluster, I used buttons and twine and a mix of blooms from Petaloo and Prima.

I hope you have enjoyed the hop, please don't forget the last stop here at the "WOW" blog!!! Thank you so much for visiting!!!

This was such a great photo to work with, your aunt sounds like a very amazing woman! I like how you incorporated the crowns and chandeliers in and the colors you chose to emboss them with added a pop to the page without overpowering the picture or the story!

I just recently learned about WOW products from the Paper Crafter's Library Blog and have been wanting to try them out on my own projects ever since, so I was excited to see this blog hop and the prize offered.

Thanks so much for participating and allowing me the chance to win. I really enjoyed your layout and the hearing about your aunt.

Have a wonderful week.
