Today starts a new challenge over at Really Reasonable Ribbon, you can go to the blog and check out all the details and the gorgeous work from the Design Team here: Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog
Here is my project for the challenge.
I wanted to do a boy page for this. I used the ribbons from the gorgeous June Ribbon Club assortment.
I have a tip for you, if you have alpha letters, here these are the ones from the HomeTown Celebration collection, but they were all red, well I wanted black, so I took my black Zig markers and colored in the letters!!! Now I have black letters!!!
Here you can see that I used the red textured ribbon, then layered with the more narrow blue on top I also used the widest blue in the pack for the pretty bow. I used little pieces for the ties in each button of a different color! Here you see that I cut some of the stars from the patterned paper in the Moxxie "Hometown Celebration" collection and popped them up on pop dots.
Here you see a close up of the bow and some more of the ribbon, also my "faux" zig zag stitching done with my Trusty "Zig" markers!!!
Just one more closeup of the detail. The chippies are OLD, OLD Scenie Route that I had in my stash, lol!!!
I really hope you check out the challenge this time, and if you're not a member of the ribbon club, please check it out too, you get a lucious assortment every single month, and let me just say, that every month I am happily surprised!!!! Wait till you see the ones for July!!!! Check the challenge here: RRR BLOG
