Once Upon A Sketch

I really have missed Once Upon A Sketch, so I thought I would try to play along with this months challenge. The sketch is beautiful and the journaling theme is "journey". I thought it would be perfect to scrap Jenna's maternity pics! If you haven't played along at OnceUponASketch, you really should, the inspiration is amazing and there are some AWESOME prizes!

Here is the sketch for this challenge:

Now here is my entry:

I used the Kaleidoscope template and ramdomly chalked some white around the elements. I inked the edges of the yellow paper with blue chalk ink and added a liquid pearl accents. The little balloon is Imaginarium Designs. I embossed it and added little pearl accents as well, then added a star sticker and twine.

I took one of the Fancy Pants buttons and added a miniature rose and twine!

Just a few more close-ups.

I made a little flower cluster with Prima "Got Flowers" and some Imaginarium leaves. I tied a little twine bow to finish it off.

I added foam dots for dimension behind the middle photo. The alpha stickers were white, so I used black alcohol ink on them.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I really do appreciate it!!!  :)

Decadence WOW Style!!!

The theme for last month was "decadence" but I missed it, so I'm using my project for this month's post! I wasn't quite sure how to interpret this theme but when I hear the word decadence I think of "over indulgence". But looking up the actual meaning it has to do with the decline of morality also. So this is just my personal take!!!

There is a lot of embossing on this page! The frame and mat around the photo, the chippie dressform and corset, and even the lace! I used lots of "Desert Sands" on this page.

Here you can see the bottom of the photo frame, I used Primary Ebony Ultra High and Silver regular powder mixed. Then on the ornate chippie frame (Imaginarium Designs) I used Metallic Gold Rich Ultra High powder. The blooms are Prima.

Here you see Dressform (Imaginarium Designs). On this I used Desert Sands Gobi. And on the hanger part of it I just used more Metallic Gold Rich Regular.

Here you see the lace, which I covered with embossing ink and then sprinked with the Desert Sands Sahara powder, it's so pretty! And then on the corset (Imaginarium Designs) more of the Sahara powder.

Here you see a little more detail of the lace. It really worked well, and it's so sparkly and pretty!!!

This page was a lot of fun, choosing embellishments and making it kind of loaded up!!! I hope you don't mind that it's a month late for the theme, lol!!! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you liked the layout!

Craft-Dee Bowz Halloween Cards!!!

Hi, it's Patti and I have a coupe ofHalloween cards to share with you today! Donna gave us some gorgeous ribbon this month, and we also got some super cute little stickers and a great spider web die!!! I wanted to do a layout, but I don't have many Halloween pictures and I have scrapped what I do have multiple times, lol! Anyway, here is the first card:

I made a big double loop bow with my Craft-Dee Bowz tool, this made such a pretty bow with the wide sheer ribbon. I did a three loop black one with the smaller ribbon on a smaller size as well.

You can see I added liquid pearl to the diecut frame and then placed my title sticker on that.

I used the cute little spider web die with some silver foil paper and put one in each corner of the card. I placed the larger bow on top left and then the smaller on bottom right!

Here's the second! Purple cardstock back and orange Kromekote embossed center. The sentiment is Anna Griffin. The pattern paper as well. I added the sticker to the bow!!!

These were really simple cards to make, but I think it gives a dramatic look! I had a lot of fun making this one! Please check back to see what else the Design Team has done with these super fun supplies!!!

Thanks!
Patti

Breast Cancer Awareness With Moxxie!!!

My project for "Fighting Back" is a layout that I did with a picture of our daughter at her office. They all wore pink, even the men doctors! So I thought this was perfect for this week!

I was so excited that I got to use the "real men wear pink" rub-on from this collection. I made little banners for the sentiments.

I made a little flag banner for the title "hope". I cut out the letters from one of the stickers and then cut out the little bra! I added some bling of course! I used some twine for the little rope.

I used some gorgeous lace and trim from Green Tara for a little frill. I also used pop dots underneath the photo that I matted with white cardstock.

Here you see some of the close-up work on the little banners with the sentiments.

Thanks so much for joining us today, and please remember, early detection really does save lives, so please remember your annual check-ups.

Craft-Dee Bowz Blog Hop Time!!!

Welcome to the Craft-Dee Bowz Blog Hop. This month's theme is Halloween. You should have arrived here from Brenda's blog. If you get lost along the way just refer back to the Craft-Dee Bowz blog, and don't forget to leave one last comment there.

To be eligible for the prize you must leave a comment on each blog, but the team is small, so it won't take long and you should see some wonderful creations along the hop!!  Now here is my creation.

I did a card with some specialty WorldWin Papers Kromekote cardstock. I also used the super cute little die that Donna sent with our package to make the web! I made the lucious orange ribbon with my Craft-Dee Bowz tool and the little black one from the ribbon she provided!! And the little sticker too!!!

I used WorldWin Papers Kromekote paper in Black Lizard, Orange Peel, and Brushed Silver. I embossed the Orange Peel with and Anna Griffin Inc. embossing folder. The sentiment sticker is also Anna Griffin. I added Onyx Liquid Pearl to the title.

The orange bow looks perfect sitting on top of one of the little webs made with a Memory Box die called Creepy Web! It was perfect with the Brushed Silver paper!.

This was a really fun card to do and the Craft-Dee Bowz tool makes it so easy to make gorgeous bows every single time, any size you need!

"DREAM" for Couture Creations

Today I thought I'd share a project that I did for Couture Creations. You can buy their products here in the US through TheCropStop. They have a fantastic variety of embossing folders and dies, along with other embellishments as well. This is a photo of our sweet and precious Grand-Daughter! Our first Grandchild and she is such a blessing! I love this photo of her sleeping.

I layered and used foam tape on this page. I also did some paper folding too. Below you can see that I used the square nesting die in a smaller size to make a mat with ivory cardstock. I put them on a layer of pink and blue cardstock cut into squares and angled. I made a bloom cluster with a blue bow too!

I used the Kaleidascope Heart die and cut three different colors and backed them with ivory cardstock. I layered these for an embellishment.

I used light yellow cardstock and made some little paper folded fans. Tucked them underneath and topped with a little yellow rose.

Here you see the background squares that were done with the Super Powder Puff folder from the Fresh & Fun collection. I then colored in the raised images with light pink, green, blue and yellow Zig markers.

I used gold ink on the entire image and also added Couture Creations gold gemstones in the little circles.

My Last Post with Green Tara

Well, my term is up here at Green Tara and I would like to thank
Di and everyone for such a wonderful time! I have loved creating
with all of the beautiful products and will use them from now on!!!
Congrats to the new Design Team, you will LOVE it here!!!
 Now on to my post!

I wanted to share today 2 layouts and a card. I chose some different
colors, a little out of my comfort zone. Green Tara has so many
beautiful blooms and trims, you can come up with all kinds of
great colour combinations! I'll start off with a white and black
combo. This is a photo of our daughter with my husband at her
wedding. It was a very sentimental day for her Dad!

Here you see the beautiful white lace and the black lace ribbon together. I added the little black and white stems. The leaves are just stamped and cut out. You see the black rosette also.

Here you see the beautiful large Heirloom bloom, and the little black raffia ribbon attached to it.

Next I chose a seafoam green/blue combination for
 this old beach photo.

The different type blooms mixed together look wonderful!!!! I added a little cherry blossom too!! I love those!

Here, I did a bow with the crushed organza ribbon and white raffia.

Last, I did a card to share, and this is red! I hardly ever do
anything red, but I love the contrast of this card!!!

I love the large red heirloom bloom with the contrast of the white gardenia!!!!

I added some beautiful white lace also and a little red stem!!!

Again, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Green Tara, and I know the new team will keep inspiring you with some gorgeous new creations!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Patti
