Holiday Wishes

I've been working on getting some cards done. I know, it's late, but I'm always late. There are such pretty Holiday papers out this year, it was hard to choose which to use! I used some Basic Grey, Pink Paislee and My Mind's Eye. I apologize for the bad pics, the room was dark and I couldn't use my flash, the flash just whited out the center of all of them. Sorry! Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Some of my Favs.....

Okay, everyone that knows me also knows that I'm a Prima junkie!!! And I really love Pink Paislee and Websters Pages too. Here are a couple of pages using Pink Paislee and some Prima goodies that I got at Michaels.

The first one is a picture of me a long, long, LONG time ago! I kept this one pretty simple. The second one is Jenna this Fall. I painted the chipboard elements and leaves and then put stickles on top of them for some "bling"!!!

Pink Paislee Christmas!!!

I'm just loving the Pink Paislee "Tinsel Town" collection. I love the colors. This is a picture that I took of Jenna, I did a impromptu photo shoot with her Santa hat on and got different faces, this one was cute! I hand drew & cut the swirls and added some Prima blooms. The trims for this collection are lucious too!!!!

Some more Samples

I've gotten a couple more samples done for EMI, one is with the Pink Paislee Tinsel Town papers. I added images stamped with white acrylic paint and stickled then cut out. I also used a large pink poinsetta too! The other page is Webster's Pages. I cut some sections from the cream paper and let the darker background paper show through.

Some Pink Paislee Samples

Here are some samples I did for EMI (my lss) a while back. I had forgot to post them, and I got the new Tinsel Town collection and remembered them! I had so much fun with these pages! These use the Vintage Moon collection, and the first one is Jenna and her friend Erin! They were getting ready to leave for a "girls night out". And the second layout is a picture of Patrick with one of the scarecrows in the yard a couple of years ago during the Fall Season with the yard decorations! I have one page completed with the new Christmas collection and can't wait to play more. I'll post them when I'm done!

A "Blinged Out" Page!!!

I started this page as a challenge on Scrapbook.com, and added lots of bling, but I just kept adding bling. It's really a little overboard, but I did make a pretty creative little butterfly! I printed a butterfly outline onto a transparency and then filled it in with stickles and gemstones! I also added other colored gemstones, glittered blooms, more stickles, glitter gel pens and used some alcohol ink stamped leave transparencies as well. Thanks for looking!!! It was fun! I used My Mind's Eye laundry line paper! I just love it!

How about some Little Yellow Bicycle and My Mind's Eye?

I've been playing with My Mind's Eye Laudry Line, and Little Yellow Bicycle's Christmas line for my lss. The Chrismas paper that is laser cut is gorgeous!!! I've had so much fun! Yesterday I did 4 layouts and 2 cards and I thought I'd share!!!

More Wedding stuff!!!

I know the wedding has been over for a couple of weeks now, but I still haven't gotten the professional photos to scrap! But, Jenna got a hardbound book as part of her photography package and they emailed it to us to proof, it's beautiful! The photographer was awesome, I would recommend him to anyone!!! I don't know if the link will work, but I'm going to try. Let me know what you think!

Here are the pictures.

Okay, hopefully this works this time!

Walking.....and MORE walking!!!

Well, today Jenna wanted to ride around and take pictures of the local scenery. The leaves haven't started changing a whole lot, but it was a pretty day. So, we rode, and we walked. And we walked some more. We walked all over the town square, then we went to the river and walked. Then we went to the pumpkin farm and walked AND then we went to Amicalola Falls State Park and walked some more, with many, many steps. 850 steps to be exact. And did we do the smart thing and walk up and then have the easiest last by coming down???? Nope, we walked down, then had to turn around and walk back up! I probably won't be able to lift my legs tomorrow! But we got some decent pics. We just have to do it all over once the leaves change a bit more! Anyway, here is a sampling of the photos we got!!

Didn't make the next round at Bad Girls....

But it was fun while it lasted!!! In a way I'm glad I'm out, this week's class is going to be tough. It's about breaking all the rules in scrapping! So it's out of the box scrapping, and I'm not an out of the box scrapper!!!!

Anyway, here's a page that I did for my lss. It's a picture of the beach in Destin with a storm coming in. I just loved the look and thought the pic was perfect for the Creative Imaginations Tidepool paper!!! I added some other stuff too!!!

Thanks for stopping by, I'm hoping to do some more wedding layouts soon!

On to round 5 at Bad Girls!!!!

Well, I made it to round 5, this may be my stumbling block!!! This week's class in "color theory and using neutral colors to tie your other colors together", it's by the talented Miss Heidi Sonboul. It helps you to take any colors and use them together when you use the right neutral color, like white/black. This is not my typical style, but it's what I came up with. Cross your fingers for me, and my girls Gabi and Tracey too!!!

a Wedding layout!!!

Well, we haven't gotten the professional photos yet, but I couldn't wait to start scrapping, so this is using a pic taken by my cousin. It's Jenna with one of her bf's little girl. This page just came together so easily. I used some of the new Laundry Line by My Mind's Eye. I can't wait to get more pics!!!
I made it to the next round of Top Designer over at Bad Girls! This is week 5! I'm really enjoying it this year, but this week's assignment was tough for me. It was pulling out colors of a photo and tying it all together with neutral colors! I got a page done and turned in, now I'll hold my breath and see!!! I may post it here later!

Made it to Round 4

Well, I was nervous but I made it through to Round 4 at the Bad Girls Top Designer class. This week our class was on ACCESSORIZING, and for some reason I struggled with it. I'm not sure why! I used some Fall colors and embellies for this one. Lots of texture and playing. I used alcohol inks and paint to cover the chipboard title to match the page, then put Crystal Accents on top for shine. I stamped the leaves and crumpled them. I also painted some torn cardboard for texture! I hope it's balanced enough and has enough flow to it! My fingers & toes are crossed!!!

The Wedding is Over

and it was beautiful!!! I can't believe after all the months of planning and waiting, that it's finally over with. The weather was beautiful and the ceremony was perfect! I'm sooooo tired!!! And I am so behind on my scrapping!!! I'm posting this one pic that my sister-in-law took. When we get the other photos I'll post more!!!!!

Wedding plans

Well, only one more week and Jenna gets married! Everything is pretty much done, but I think the reality is really setting in for us all! Jenna is stressed, I'm worried, her Dad is sad, her brothers are ready for it.........and we're praying that it doesn't rain! She's getting married outside, so cross your fingers and say a prayer!!!

The plans are all finalized, the dress is fitted, the men pick up the tuxs on Friday, I still have to get a pair of shoes for my dress, and get my hair highlighted Tuesday, and go to the tanning bed on Thursday, and we're doing manicure/pedicures Friday morning! Then Friday night is the rehearsal!!!

The music is going to be so cool! And Sam is even going to sing to her (if he doesn't lose his nerve), and a friend of ours is doing the music, and she has a voice like an angel! So, if I'm not around much this week, you'll know why!!!

K & Co. "Blue Awning" layouts

I got some of the new Blue Awning from K & Company at EMI for some store samples and I am totally in love with this line. The colors with the blue are so versatile and the embellishments are gorgeous. I did a couple of quick pages and took them to the store. You can always depend on K & Company for beautiful products!
The pictures were taken at Jekyll Island, I took them as part of Jenna & Sam's engagement photos!

A Few New Pages

Okay, my LSS is getting lots of new stuff, and I can't even wait for the CHA stuff to start arriving. Here's a couple of pages with some of the newer (not CHA) stuff I did for store samples. Of course one is Prima, some of the Morning Song goodies. I'm just a total Prima junkie, I love anything and everything Prima!!! The other two are Making Memories Passport stuff.
The first page is my Mother back in the 1940's with a bunch of her friends at FDR State Park in Pine Mountain Georgia. You can see marshmallows on their sticks if you look closely. The pictures are really bad quality, but I love what they are.
The second one is my GrandMother. I really wonder what she was like when she was young. What her hopes and dreams were.
And the last one is the Prima page. That's our daughter and her fiance, the pic was taken at the horse barn! But I really love the photo.
Well, I'm off to play with some K & Company Blue Awning stuff. Or maybe I'll just go to bed and do that tomorrow, it's 1:00 am here!!!
