Everyone is welcome to participate, all entries due by October 15th

This is my take on the sketch.

The cream/pink blooms were made with Spellbinders dies, Rose Creations and Bitty Blossoms. Also the cream/pink leaves. I just inked the edges.

I will be sharing a quick tutorial on the little cracked glass charm in the top right corner shortly. I used the stamp included in this wonderful kit. I added some orange cardstock to this page to match the pretty blooms in the kit.

I also made a card with the leftovers! I used almost every bit of this lucious kit!!!

Once Upon A Sketch and CSI

It's time for another challenge at Once Upon A Sketch. This month we've been teaming up with Color Stories Inspiration (CSI). It's been a little different, there are 4 challenges this month since CSI has one every week. This week is my group. Below is the sketch and information along with my take on the challenge.

I chose a picture of me with our first English Bulldog "Speckles", she was such a sweet girl, and I still miss her every single day. She loved water, this was taken at the river.

I just clustered mixed Prima blooms of the color scheme and used adhesive pearls for the centers. The chippies are Imaginarium Designs and I embossed them with WOW Embossing powders by Suzy West.

The sentiment sticker is from Anna Griffin.

This is my hidden journaling, it tucks behind the photo.

I used some older Basic Grey paper, the colors were absolutely perfect for the CSI color scheme! Please check out the other work over at Once Upon A Sketch and Color Stories Inspiration! Thanks so much for stopping by.

The winners  at Once Upon A..Sketch will be announced at the beginning of October and our Design Team will look at ALL the entries from ALL the challenges. So the more challenges you play along at, the more chances you have of being one of our challenge/prize winners or Top 5 Featured layouts. This is a little different to CSI who announce their "featured" layouts on a weekly basis.

As mentioned before, everything will go back to normal in October and we will have a reveal October 1st as usual. So I hope you guys have fun and enjoy what we have planned for you. Don't forget that the entries for this challenge are due by  2:00pm Monday 1st of OctoberAustralian Eastern Standard Time

For this challenge, you must use :
*the SKETCH provided
* all the colours in the SCHEME
* at least 2 elements from the EVIDENCE
* at least 1 element from the TESTIMONY!

Faith Based Cards

I wanted to share a set of cards today that I did a while back for CHA for Moxxie. I used the  FAITH collection. This is such a beautiful collection, and the colors are so soft and pretty!

I kept the embellishments minimal to showcase the actual product. On this first card I used an Anna Griffin border punch and a few little rosebuds with twine. Added a few pearls and that was it. I also used foam dots for dimension of some elements.

On this one I added a single little bloom, some ribbon and lace and a couple of pins!

On this one I used another Anna Griffin punch and a few embellments! Again I used foam dots for dimension!

Pearls and lace were all I added for this pretty cross! I love the blue and beige colors together!

I cut some elements out of the paper and used my Zig markers to faux-stitch around the border.

This is a versatile collection, you can use the paper for other subjects as well, but I thought it was absolutely perfect for cards!!! Thank you so much for dropping by!

Really Reasonable Blog Hop Time!!!

It's time for a new Ribbon Club Assortment and a new Blog Hop!!! This month's assortment is spooktacular!!!! Perfect colors for any Halloween project that you may have to do! If you are following along on the hop you should have arrived here from Heidi's blog. The starting point is the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog, and if you get lost along the way you can go back and check HERE.

I have created a card and a layout using these ribbons!! First is a card that shows off the purple ribbon! I used the green also, along with the orange dotted and a black bow! I used paper from the "Moxxie" All Hallows Eve collection.

Next, I found this OLD paper from Close to My Heart, but the colors were absolutely perfect, so I did a quick layout. I used the purple and orange dotted on this one! I used WorldWin cardstock and Zig markers also.

These colors are so much fun! I hope you are enjoying the hop, and don't forget to check all the stops. Your next stop will be at Misty's blog! Thanks for joining us!!!
