This is my take on the very first sketch for the new sketch blog "Once Upon A Sketch". I love the simple design and used some Echo Park for this one. This is my Mom, she and my Dad were both in the Air Force when they were young, they were not always in the same place, I've found pictures with notes mailed to each other, this is one of them. The writing on the back says "To my Dear Smitty, All my Love"!!!! Smitty was my Dad's nickname!
Once Upon a Sketch has some wonderful designers on their team, so I'm looking forward to much inspiration. Please go check it out if you haven't already!!!
