Swirlydoos "UDC" Week 2

Well, I made it through the first round of the Swirlydoos "Ultimate Design Challenge". This is my entry for week 2. This week the technique was paper layering. Layering and distressing don't come easy to me, it's a stretch for me, so this was a challenge! I used some pictures of our youngest and his sweetie! They're so cute together!!!

I did use lots of layers of paper, distressing each one. I used lots of Prima on this page and did some "faux stitching" too.

Here you can see some of the layers and the little ZVA pearl flourishes. The pretty Prima vine also.

And here, you see more of the layers again. I printed the pictures in a sepia tone also, to look more aged to go with the page.

You need to visit the Swirlydoos website and check out all the gorgeous entries for this challenge! There are some amazing projects there! And wish me luck to make it to the next round!!! Thanks so much for dropping by.

Products used:
Paper - Prima
Floral Vine - Prima
Pearl Flourishes - ZVA
Pen work - Kuretake Zig
