Lazy Days ~The Color Room Palette #2~

I've been working on DT stuff for MCS and projects for the store (EMI), but I took a break to do the page for the #2 Palette over at "The Color Room". It was a challenge for me! No bright colors, and I didn't have any blooms to match.......can't do a page without blooms!!! Luckily I found a few in my stash! LOL!

A Good Scratch!!!

Okay, here is one more page of the adorable Emma (HWG Photography) with one of their dogs, this is "Sammy". Isn't this the cutest picture ever!!!! I used some older Prima paper and some mixed blooms and tried to pull the color from the photo. I think the touch of black ties it together a little bit!!!

New Inspiration ~The Color Room~

I was invited by my very talented friend Steph Devlin to visit their new "baby", The Color Room. It's an inspiration site with color palette challenges and sketches. Prima's April BAP

I totally LOVE Prima and Websters, anybody who knows me will tell you that too!!! I did this page of Emma (HWG Photography) for the April BAP sketch. She is the cutest thing, it's so easy to do a page with gorgeous things like Emma and Prima!!!!!

I used mostly "Strawberry Kisses". And I used a Tim Holtz mask with 2 colors of ink with a big sponge.

April Reveal ~Main Kit~ for MyCreative Scrapbook

Guess what? It's reveal time again. Wow, this month has flown by, but I'm so glad to see warm weather, sunshine and things starting to bloom. The birds are chirping and building nests and the insects are coming out (some unwelcome!!!)

These are my projects from the Main kit this month which featured Websters "Life's Portrait" papers, Teresa Collins chipboard and Prima goodies, with a few more things mixed in. It is a totally beautiful kit!

New Page and Mini for EMI~

I just finished a new layout and mini-book for the store using some TPC Studio "Boho Blooms" paper. This collection is so bright and vibrant. It screams Spring and warm weather!!! I made some simple circle blooms, distressed and inked the edges, and folded and inked, then topped with a button and a pearl. The leaves are hand drawn and cut then inked, really simple.
