Got You - 49 and Market

Today I'm sharing my first post for this month using the gorgeous new ArtOptions Alena collection. This has the most beautiful, stunning and sharp colors. Our youngest son and his family live on the Gulf Coast so the colors in this collection are perfect for beach photos. (although this is not). It was still perfect for the vibrant and happy pic of the two of them!

I used two of the papers from the collection as the base for the page. I used Ephemera Bits, Rubon Transfers, Tags and chipboard from the collection. I used a rubon on one of the tags for the main title "Got You". I also used a frame around the photo.

I added floral elements along with a butterfly and the new Essentials filmstrips in each corner. I mixed 3d blooms with diecuts and rubon leaves also.

I used chippies for different phrases to go with the cute photo. I added the little chipboard hearts and a phrase to another tag and popped it on foam for dimension. I also used rubon accents around the borders of the page.

I also added a few simple elements to another small tag, a couple of tiny blooms and another phrase. I attached the tags by the strings around the larger blooms on the corners.

Thank you for visiting the blog. Please stop back by daily to see what the design team has in store for  you. They always have something amazing!

49 & Market July 29 Project "Dreamer"

Today I'm sharing my project for 49 & Market's second post of the month. This is our first Granddaughter when she was a baby. She is 9 years old now! Time passes by so fast! I used  49 & Market's Art Options "Viken" collection. I love the cool blues and greens in this collection.

I used mixed blooms and different embellishments from the collection, like the laser cuts, chipboard pieces, washi tape and more. I did some "faux stitching" with my trusty Zig markers around the edges as well.

I hope you like the page, I really enjoy using the gorgeous products from 49 and Market. They have some surprises coming out soon and I can not wait for everyone to see what cool stuff they have!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by. And please come back!

June 9 "Unforgettable" Layout for 49 & Market

Hello everyone, today I am sharing a layout using the new Art Options "Viken" collection. This is a photo of my husband and myself on the beach! The blues and lavendars in this collection were perfect for this picture. I used lots of different products from this collection. It is so much fun!

I used lots of laser cut floral elements mixed with Royal Spray blooms in Ocean Jade and ivory. The two go perfectly together and add so much dimension and texture with the cute elements. The leaves and berries with the beautiful  realistic blooms work so well together!

I used foam tape behind the "unforgettable" title and placed in on the lace die cut piece. I added layers underneath. I used different tags and chippies with a quote beneath it as well. And also added assorted Fabric tape too.

I took large frames and used them as the photo matt and added a chipboard word to the top and added the little laser cut green tag to it. Also added a little chippie heart! This added even more dimension.

I layered elements to make the little circle tag also, and placed floral elements around it. The mix of elements together just add so much to the project. I added the little butterflies. I also used the cut off strips from the background paper to make a border. I placed the main background paper on a sheet of the solid. All together this made a really dimensional looking page!

Thank you so much for dropping by and please don't forget to check back daily to see what we have in store for you!

Design Team Project for 49 & Market

Hello! Today I am sharing a layout featuring the beautiful Vintage Artistry Blush Collection. It works wonderfully with this fun picture of our daughter and son-in-law with their dogs! Using a black and white photo with the beautiful pinks in this collection worked perfectly together

I used lots of the Vintage Artistry Blush laser cut images, especially the beautiful pink florals. I added blooms  from the Royal spray - passion pink, Royal spray - sunshing, Sugar posies tutti fruitti and passion pink added to them. I added the little shaped arrow clip to the photo also.

I used the doily patterns from the Blush & Sage rub-on transfers. I wanted to keep a cohesive look to the page. I thought this also helped highlight the black & white photo.

You can see more detail of the dimension the mix of blooms with the die cut shaped floral elements give. I used foam adhesive behind the die cuts. The papers behind bring out the beautiful colors.

I finished off the page by using the beautiful yellow butterfly from the collection. I put a piece of foam tape in the center and bent the wings slightly.  I also added Wishing Bubbles and Baubles in blush and lilac in several places on the page.

I absolutely love these papers and embellishments. The colors and the patterns are absolutely gorgeous. We appreciate you stopping by and hope you come back daily to see what else we have to share with you!

Thanks so much!
Patti

April 9 project for 49 & Market

Hello everyone, today I am happy to be sharing a layout of our daughter. Her eyes and smile always sparkle and shine! I used the Curators Botanicals for this fun page. I used lots of elements and wanted to bring out the yellow touches in the photo with the beautiful papers!

I used a lot of the Botanicals Laser Cut elements and layered them together around the photo. I also distressed the edges of the mats and faux stitched around the larger ones. You can see I also randomly used the Botanicals rub-on elements on the entire page.

I put the phrases from the Laser Cut elements on foam tape for dimension, also added foam tape under each layer of paper as well. I love using the little butterflies and put them in different places on the page. I used a frame from the Botanicals Ephemera bits as a frame for the photo.

I used floral elements from the Laser Cut Elements on both sides of the photo. I love how delicate and pretty they are. I also attached them at the base and left the top "free" for a more realistic look! I added one of the tiny butterflies onto the title element.

I also added some regular blooms the the Laser cut ones, I only added yellow and white. I think the mixture of both looks really good and adds more to the arrangement of the page. I love the yellow and purple mix of colors in this collection.  You can use it for almost any subject, other than something really masculine of course!!!!

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. The team has lots of exciting things to share with you in the upcoming days, be sure to check back daily!!! We love to have you!!! Thanks so much!

49 & Market - Simple Yet Stunning Sympathy Cards

Today I am up on the 49 & Market blog with a couple of simple yet elegant sympathy cards. I know we don't like to think of the times we need these types of cards, but it's a part of life. So why not at least let everyone know how you feel with a few words.

I used Curators Botanicals to make two cards. You can even use scraps to make them since they are 5x7 and if you are like me, you probably have miscellaneous dies in your stash along with a sentiment sticker, stamp or whatever  title you have. Here I layered a tag with a few blooms and laser cut elements. I then attached the tag to the little paper bow on the first card as seen below.

I used the lacy border laser cut under the sentiment for a pretty accent and tucked some greenery underneath.

I added two paper bows on the second card and added a little bloom in the center of each!

The sentiment for the first card matched the papers perfectly so I thought it would be a great accent to the colors. I let the little layered tag hang beside it. I added a little scalloped die border around the mat layer on this card as well. I used the solid side of the paper for both cards as well.

Thank you for stopping by, and please check back I will share at least two projects per month for the rest of the year from 49 and Market, and I really appreciate your stopping by!!!
