Embossing Folders, Dies and New paper from Anna Griffin!!!

I've been busy creating for Anna's first HSN show of next year, but wanted to share some of my projects that were shown on the last Craft Day. There were so many awesome products to choose from. I hope you all found something you just had to have!!!!!

First here are two pages that I did with her newest embossing folders. I wanted to show off the embossing so I just embossed on pink cardstock  for the background and then inked white, and for the photo mat just reverse, embossed on ivory cardstock and used pink ink! You can see the beautiful pattern in the folders!

For this one I embossed again on pink and ivory but added an embossed border that I used the gold metallic layer paper on.

Next are projects using the new Bow dies, these are so much fun, you can make such neat bows from your paper to match your project!

These two were done with the Ornament dies, you can get such different looks with these! I just love them!

On this one I combined the new Christmas paper and the bows again. I love the festive look of this. I just added some gems to the center for a little extra bling!

I hope you liked something, you can visit HSN to purchase most of the items here! You can purchase the newest Halloween collection Battastic at Scrapbook. com

Thanks so much for stopping by I really appreciate it!!! Happy Crafting!!!!!

WOW and 3L Blog Hop!!!

It's day 5 of the WOW and 3L blog hop. I created a card using various 3L products! The selection of adhesives makes it easy to find just the perfect product for any project!
I started with the Scrapbook Adhesives 4x6 adhesive sheets and die cut then embossed the shape with Orange Fizz embossing glitter!

I used the 3D Foam Squares, the large ones to give the mat some dimension first, then

I used the small ones on the back of the die cut.

I just added a sentiment, some lace and ribbon and a couple of blooms and that was it!!! Simple but elegant card!!!!

3L Scrapbook Adhesives products used:
4x6 Adhesive Sheets

Old Panama City Beach!!!

Chances are if you grew up in the Southeast you were familiar with Panama City Beach Florida. And if you are my age (growing up in the 1960's) there are certain things that probably come to mind!!! Long car rides with no air conditioning, laying across the back of the car in the sun, windows down. And you knew you were getting close when you started seeing orange groves on the sides of the highway. And even closer when you finally got to the big bridge!!!!!!!

orange groves on side of road!

The old Hathaway Bridge (now replaced with new sleek concrete double bridge!) The old one was a draw bridge and I was always afraid going over the opening part!!!

 me on the beach 1963

One of the things that was always waiting was "Goofy Golf"!!! We always stopped at least once to play a couple of rounds here!

Me with my Daddy at Goofy Golf, 1963! (cool sunglasses!)

The main attraction was "Miracle Strip Amusement Park", which was the place to be at night! Lots of cool rides and things to do! This was the home of the "Starliner" roller coaster, which happened to be the FIRST roller coaster that I ever rode!!!!

Also, back then most of the hotels were one story court style motels, or two level hotels. But there was one large luxury hotel on the beach and everyone wanted to stay there, it was the "Fontaine Bleau". And back then it was the shining gem of the beach!!!! In later years it was dwarfed by the large multi story condominiums and hotels! But back then it was something!!!

There was just something special back then, things were just so different. If you grew up visiting here please leave a comment and let me know what things you remember the most!!!!!!

Sunday Inspiration

I thought I would do something a little different today. While I've been super busy creating some new things for Anna Griffin and WeR Memory Keepers for the big 24 Hour Craft Day on HSN this Tuesday I can't share anything till after the show!!!

So......I was browsing Scrapbook.com and thought I would share some beautiful inspiration that I found. Each of these projects is simply stunning, and I know that if you're like me you don't have time to do as much "browsing and commenting" as we used to since there are so many places to keep up with now! So I urge you to check out each of these lovely ladies blogs and see for yourself what kind of yumminess you are missing if you haven't seen their work!

I'll be back later in the week to share some Anna Griffin, but in the meantime, please be inspired by some of these creations!!!!

First up is a gorgeous tag by my friend Gabi, and the best part......she used some of her own stamps that she designed!!!!! Isn't this stunning?!?!?! You can find her blog HERE!

Next is this lovely creation by Keren Tamir, I just love the softness in these colors and the beautiful design! HERE is Keren's blog!

I couldn't help but stare at this lucious page full of texture by Heather Jacob! I love the sweet photo and the embellies are perfect! You will find Heather's blog HERE.
