MIA and Sneek Peek Time

First of all, I've been MIA and neglected my blog for a while now, but I've had lots of stuff going on here. Some family illness and our "Speckles" has been sick too. Anyway, it's almost time for the new kits at MyCreativeScrapbook! WOW.....time is going by so fast, it's the June kits already!!!! Week #6 at The Color Room

Challenge at MCS

Hey, thought I would share this with you all.

Hi everyone! It's me... Patti! The ever-persuasive Pam has asked me to host a monthly color challenge at My Creative Scrapbook. Each challenge will begin on the 5th and end on the 5th of the following month. In addition, there will be a fabulous prize awarded to the winner! I love color, and there are particular colors which seem to be my favorites. If I look back through my layouts, I tend to gravitate towards the same color schemes over and over.So to start our challenge, this month's colors are PINK, YELLOW, GREEN and WHITE. I've included a sample layout below along with some color swatches.If you wish to play along, just go to My Creative Scrapbook and upload your pages into the Contest Gallery. I can't wait to see what you do with these colors!!

Lazy Days ~The Color Room Palette #2~

I've been working on DT stuff for MCS and projects for the store (EMI), but I took a break to do the page for the #2 Palette over at "The Color Room". It was a challenge for me! No bright colors, and I didn't have any blooms to match.......can't do a page without blooms!!! Luckily I found a few in my stash! LOL!

A Good Scratch!!!

Okay, here is one more page of the adorable Emma (HWG Photography) with one of their dogs, this is "Sammy". Isn't this the cutest picture ever!!!! I used some older Prima paper and some mixed blooms and tried to pull the color from the photo. I think the touch of black ties it together a little bit!!!
