Scrap Idols
One thing about the online scrapping community is that you get to make some really good and lasting "real" friends. But, we still have our "scrap idols" that we admire from afar. I admire so many of my friends work, each unique and beautiful. I have also been lucky enough to actully meet 2 of my Idols. One is Cari Fennel and the other is Lucy Edson. I met them both at Summer CHA and it was such a blast. Their work amazes me. I have found 2 more to add to my "admire from afar" list, they are Karola Witczak and Steph Devlin, both new Webster's DT members. If you haven't seen their work, check out their blogs on my blog link, and please visit my other good friends there too, you won't be sorry!

A New Year....and a new reveal for MyCreativeScrapbook

OMG, where did 2009 go? It just flew by, I would like to extend my wishes for a Happy and prosperous New Year for you all. It's time for the first reveal of the year for My Creative Scrapbook, and let me say, it's full of fun and incredibly beautiful things. I got the Main kit and the Creative kit to work with. Check the website http://www.mycreativescrapbook.com/ for all of the kits for this month.
First was the Main kit, it features Lily Bee's Aubrey collection. Another very versatile line, and Pam chose some beautiful embellies for it.
Next was the Creative kit, it was full of Fancy Pants "Frosted" goodies. I struggled a little with this one, we don't get much snow, but it was so easy to use once I dug out what snow pics I could find!!! Now I want more snow!!!

New *Pink Paislee* Goodness for the Store
My lss got the new Pink Paislee "Cupid" collection last week and I've been playing with it. I've done a couple of samples and it's such a fun collection! I'm in LOVE with it!!!!! And you can use it for any kind of page, not just Valentines!!!! This is our youngest with his girlfriend. They're so cute!!!! This was a really a quick and simple page, no frills or extras at all, just Pink Paislee and a little bit of "faux" stitching on the sides of the scallop paper! Posting this one, will post the other when I finish!!!
