Some new samples for EMI

Happy Fridaye everyone! I've been having scanner and keyboard problems, so I've gotten behind in lots of stuff here, my blog, and browsing everyone elses' too! I have gotten around to scanning a couple of new samples that I did for EMI my lss. One is (of course) another wedding layout of our dd using some really cool Kaisercraft paper and goodies from their Spirograph line. And another one using some My Mind's Eye PennyLane goodies. That collection is huge and every singe piece is beautiful!!!!

Simple punched flower accents

I saw the cutest little flower stickers at Michaels yesterday, it was 3 little clusters of 3 small blooms with leaves. They were 5.99. I started to buy them, but then I looked closely and thought that I could make something very similar in any color. Well, thanks to my friends Debbie, Robbie and Gabi, I have been learning how to make my punched flowers have dimension. With these I just punched the little blooms in a color cardstock, then inked the centers with a shade darker. I punched the little leaves and just added a liquid pear center! Easy, fast and pretty cute!!!! I thought I'd share some pics.

Mini Book class & new PP layout

I taught a class today at EMI (my lss) of a little mini-album that I put together. I have another one coming up and thought I'd share some pics of it. I used a Zsiage chippie album for the base and I used My Mind's Eye paper and embellies. I'm also sharing a layout that I did for a store sample using the new Pink Paislee "Sweetcakes" collection. I had to use that adorable cupcake. The pics are Speckles on her birthday and on the little cupcake I embossed the yellow part, added dimensional paint for frosting and a button for the cherry! It's a simple style page, very different for me, but it kinda went with the pics!!!

Lucious February Kits from My Creative Scrapbook

I was so excited, I was asked to be a Guest Designer for My Creative Scrapbook for the month of February. The owner and the Design Team are such awesome ladies and made me feel right at home. The main kit for the month featured some yummy items from My Little Yellow Bicycle. And believe me, I got some bang from this kit! I kept getting pages done!!! A Couple of Classes

I thought I'd post a couple of classes that I'm doing for EMI (my lss) in the next few weeks. One is a mini-book, a couple of peeks of it, and the other is a layout class, 2 pages using the new Basic Grey Bittersweet collection pack. I only used what's in the pack other than some dimensional stuff, like stickles and liquid pearls. The other one is just a Bittersweet sample, it uses the chipboard as well. I remember why I love Basic Grey!!!

Happy New Year, and a little KI Memories!

Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! I know that we did. I've been doing other stuff, putting up decorations, all that stuff, but did have time to do a couple of store samples for EMI with the Christmas KI paper! Both are super simple layouts, but they were fun with the cute papers! One is our English Bulldog "Speckles" opening some presents, she LOVES opening and getting presents! And the other one is Eric looking in his stocking!!!! I hope this next year brings good health and happiness to all of you!!!
